I wasn't surprised that nobody bought flowers all night, but was a little surprised to see a customer come in as the sun came up, around 6 or 7 am. There was really not enough space for the two of us and my backpack and a customer, who had to talk over me with the saleslady. The customer wanted advice about what flower was in season or whatever so the sale took a few minutes. It was time to leave. The flower lady let me borrow her phone and this time my host picked up and said she would come downstairs to meet me. I thanked the lady many times with praying hands and then left and never saw her again. I guess I never saw anyone from my travels again, with a few exceptions.
My host's name was Anna. We had breakfast in the cafeteria of her dorm. She was a linguistics student and spoke English fluently. Speaking english in the crowded cafeteria was enough to turn heads.
